Rick Ross Out of jail, wants his name back

Now that the real “Freeway” Rick Ross, is out of jail he’s ready to reclaim the rights to his name. The infamous L.A.-based drug trafficker is planning a lawsuit against Miami rapper Rick Ross (real name William L. Roberts II),
From the sound of it, things could get pretty serious. When asked if they were planning on pushing for injunctions on Ross’ music or anything of that sort, his lawyer responded “If it has to go to court, all of that is not only in the plan but already prepared.”
For people that don’t know about the former drug king-pin Rick Ross spent 15 years in prison for trying to purchase over 100 KILOS of cocaine from a federal agent.

Opinion: I think that Rick Ross has the right to his name, I mean the rapper Rick Ross has spent the past few years making money from street cred that doesn’t belong to his name, I think that should be illegal and I think the REAL Rick Ross should get his name back along with a lot of money in compensation due to the fact that Rick Ross wouldn’t be anywhere near as successful as he is without the famous name backing him.

UN pushes ban on child soldiers

An Astonishing one third of the worlds countries still have not banned child soldiers and the sale of children.

"In too many places, children are seen as commodities, in too many instances they are treated as criminals instead of being protected as victims, and there are too many conflicts where children are used as soldiers, spies or human shields," U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said yesterday.

Throughout the world include countries like Mammmar and Iraq have not signed the treaty banning child atrocities, the UN has been pushing for the past decade to outlaw the use of a child as a commodity, but after a decade clearly not enough has been done.

Opinion: I think it is atrocious that countries are still willing to use the future of the country as a commodity, I think this has a large part of what is wrong with the world, because people growing up as a child soldier obviously are very traumatic and they arent raised the right way and when that’s all they know obviously they arent going to pass on the right messages to their kids.

73 Killed in India Train Wreck, Terriosts?

The crash occurred at about 1:30 a.m railway spokesman Anil Kumar Saxena said.

At least 73 bodies have been pulled out of the mangled wreckage where two trains crashed in eastern India early Friday in an incident authorities linked to Maoist rebels.

By Friday night, hours after the massive collision, prospects were getting dim for anybody else left in the wreckage of crushed train cars, rescuers said.

Also about 115 passengers were injured when 13 cars of the Lokmanya Tilak Gyaneshwari Express derailed, capsized on a parallel track and were slammed by a cargo train, authorities said.

Indian officials gave different theories about the derailment.
Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee said a bomb explosion caused the passenger train to jump rails.

"It appears to be a case of sabotage where a portion of the railway track was removed. Whether explosives were used is not yet clear," Home Minister P. Chidambaram said

Opinion: This is a very tragic incident and I think its sad that the India Government has not decided what has happened yet, I don’t know if it’s a cover up or if it really has been bombed by rebels. Indian officials say that 900 people have been killed in the past year from rebel attacks.

Gary Coleman on life support

Gary Coleman’s condition has worsened according to his family the Different Strokes actor suffered an intracranial hemorrhage at his home in utah.

He was in critical condition on Thursday but a hospital statement said he has slipped into unconsciousness
Coleman was initally rushed to a local hospital after his fall at home, but later transferred to Utah Valley Regional. There is not a lot of news to report on this because of it being a developing story.

Opinion: My opinion on this story is my heart weeps for the one time very famous child actor, Different Strokes was one of my favourite shows growing up and it pains me deeply to see that one of my favourite actors is in a struggle for his life, witch catch-phrases like “WHATCHU TALKIN’ BOUT WILLIS?” ringing in my ears it deeply saddens me to read this story.

44 dead in Jamaica street gang wars

Jamaican security forces claimed a tenuous hold over the strong hold of a gang leader sought by the U.S., but only after battles that killed at least 44 civilians, the country's official ombudsman said Wednesday.
Officers and soldiers were still fighting holdout defenders of Christopher Coke, known as "Dudus," in pockets of the Tivoli Gardens area. He was still at large after nearly three days of street battles.
Bishop Herro Blair, Jamaica's most prominent evangelical pastor, told The Associated Press that independent evaluations have put the number of civilian dead at 44 in West Kingston alone. Police have said that at least four soldiers and police officers also have died in fighting in West Kingston and elsewhere around the capital.
Police earlier reported at least 26 civilian deaths and the country's embattled Prime Minister Bruce Golding promised an independent investigation into all civilian deaths during the operation.
Blair and Jamaica's public defender were escorted by security forces into Tivoli Gardens, where supporters of Coke began massing last week after Golding dropped his nine-month refusal to extradite him to the U.S.
Coke has ties to Golding's Labor Party, which gets a large number of votes from the Tivoli Gardens area Golding represents in parliament.
Opinion: I can see both sides of this struggle, Coke has really helped out the slums of West Kingston by helping with grocery bills, putting roofs over peoples heads and providing schooling for the people. He has been doing this through selling coke in New York, which is wrong and causes many people pain. The people of West Kingston really love Coke for there own reasons, and obviously are willing to die for him.

At age 95, she finally gets her high school diploma

There was a historic even at the Monday evening grad events of the Falkville seniors of Alabama. Marching alongside the young teens of the grad class was 95 year old Earlene Harvey-Morris, whose dreams of her own diploma we’re snatched away 77 years ago during the great depression.
“This is just something I never thought would happen,” Harvey-Morris told the Falkville class of 2010, who adopted her and made her an honorary class member.

She had a typical high school girl’s life, partaking in sports and school plays with friends. But the Depression hit the largely agrarian northern Alabama community especially hard, and the local school board was forced to close the school just a semester before Earlene’s graduation.
Opinion: I think this old lady is very determined and I think it’s a great thing that the school system could offer her especially because it sounds like she had a normal high school life until the great depression hit. This is a very upbeat story in a time where there aren’t to many upbeats stories so it really warms someone’s heart when they read about an old lady finally doing something she always wanted too.

Mother accused of suffocating children: I dont how i'll cope

Lianne Smith, 43, contacted a publicist in a plea for help, according to a report, days before allegedly killed her five-year-old daughter Rebecca and 11-month-old son Daniel.
Police found the children’s bodies lying on the beds of the triple room, carefully covered with a blanket. Reports in Spain said officers found a note in the room in which Mrs Smith confessed to killing them and explained her motive.
She is expected to undergo psychiatric tests today as she waits to learn whether a case will be brought against her.
Opinion: These cases are hard to have an opinion on prior to the psychiatric examination, you never really know if she truly has it all there mentally or if she doesn’t, sometimes the human mind bends and breaks in extreme ways, and perhaps that is the case here but it could also be that she just lost her husband and she diddnt want the burden of two children, maybe there was money issues or something.

N.Korea must face consequences for ship:Clinton

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says North Korea must face international consequences for its actions after "overwhelming" evidence showed one of its submarines sank a South Korean warship.
Speaking Friday in Tokyo, at the outset of a three-nation Asian trip, Clinton said the U.S., Japan, South Korea and China are consulting on an appropriate reaction to an international investigation that blamed North Korea for the incident. Clinton said it was "important to send a clear message to North Korea that provocative actions have consequences”

North Korea denies it was responsible for the sinking and has threatened to retaliate against any attempt to punish it with "all-out war."Opinion: My opinion on this serious matter is that we must approach it very carefully because North Korea is a ticking time bomb. The leaders of North Korea are clearly unstable, and the threat of all out war could produce another vietnam, making things very confusing because of the past complications of Vietnam

GUCCI MANE FREE AT LAST

Gucci Mane, real name Radric Davis, has been released from jail as of yesterday. He was imprisoned in Atlanta after violating his parole on an assault charge. He went to the slammer on the eve on his album dropping “The State vs Radric Davis”

Now that Gucci has his freedom restored, the rapper has kicked off a new label, 1017 Brick Squad Records, which will be affiliated with Asylum/Warner Bros. He also said he will record with rapper Wacka Flocka Flame. His new album “The Appeal” is due out in July.

Opinion: Gucci Mane is not the best rapper in my books, but he’s very good at making catchy tunes and his Zaytoven beat makers make really good beats. Gucci Mane is more known for his infamy of killing an intruder in his home than the music he makes, which really doesn’t make much sense to me because most people know him as a musician.

CHINA CENSORS NEWS OF STABBING

After a man with a kitchen cleaver hacked to death NINE people at a kindergarten in Northern China this week. This is the countries fifth stabbing school attack in a month, and because of this Chinese authorities have removed the news story from television broadcast and banned it from the internet, they are doing this to try to cut down on “copy cat” attacks that authorities are believing are causing the string of bizarre attacks.

China is also removing these headlines because of the upcoming World Expo, which 80 million people over a 6 month period are expected to go to China. A survey of China’s English-language newspapers by AOL news shows no top headlines about attacks either on may 13th or the previous Wednesday.

The name of the attacker is not known, but the assailant walked calmly into an elementary school on May 13th and butchered 7 kindergarten students and 2 adults then calmly returned home and commited suicide.

Opinion: This is a very tragic story, China has recently been going through a phase of school stabbing incidents, and for some reason most of them are very young children, these are the types of stories that are so important to report about but no one wants to hear about, stories like this make me realize the world has a very dark side.
